More Education Opportunities Than Ever at InfoComm China 2013 Summit

FAIRFAX, Virginia, United States of America – March 14, 2013 InfoComm International® is delighted to announce details of the InfoComm China 2013 Summit, to be held concurrently with next month’s InfoComm China exhibition in Beijing.

Organized by InfoComm International and its trade show partner InfoCommAsia in conjunction with local user-group associations and leading AV industry media, the Summit will offer the latest technology updates to specific industry practices alongside valuable insights from market perspectives.

The InfoComm China 2013 Summit will feature a mixture of InfoComm University courses and Industry Track seminars aimed at customers in market verticals such as hospitality, education, transportation, and entertainment, along with Manufacturers’ Presentations hosted by InfoComm China 2013 exhibitors.

“By offering attendees a choice between InfoComm University education and Industry Track sessions, we believe we will have something for everyone at InfoComm China, regardless of their level of AV expertise and experience,” comments Scott Wills, CTS-D, CTS-I, Director of International Education and Member Services for InfoComm International.

Among the highlights of the InfoComm University program are Integrated Intelligent Design – An Introduction to Digital Media Systems, by Crestron Shanghai’s Cani Wu on Wednesday 10 April, and Giving Digital Signage the Gift of Sight, to be delivered by Rick Yu of PrimeSense on Thursday 11 April.

From the Industry Tracks, Zane Au, CTS-D, of Shen Milsom & Wilke will be delivering a talk on the Advantages and Challenges of Converged Networks for Intelligent Building Systems on 11 April, while on the same day another SMW employee, David King, CTS, will present a case studies of the Facility-Wide Management of Background Music, Lighting and System Control from Macau and Hong Kong.

In all, more than 30 sessions are available from either the InfoComm University or the Industry Track program, with Manufacturers’ Presentations offering additional opportunities to attendees. All sessions are free of charge to attend, but because of the high numbers expected, pre-registration for each class is considered essential.

InfoComm China will take place from 10-12 April at the China National Convention Centre, Beijing, with the education program spanning all three days of the show. To register and view the InfoComm China 2013 Summit programme, please visit: http://223.4.179.170/infocomm2013/reg/visitor/prereg_1.asp.
