Demonstration of the highest quality Level D certified visuals in today’s marketplace
Fredrikstad, Norway, 22 October 2012 – Norway’s projectiondesign® will provide their FL35 wqxga ReaLED™ projectors on the RSI Visual Systems’ booth at the upcoming CAATS Ab-Initio Training summit in Sanya, Hainan Province, China.
“The booth will show the industry’s leading high performance certified Level D IG and projection system, world-wide database and airport libraries, for deployment on new FSTD and FTD simulators and for upgrades to existing systems,” says Alasdair MacPherson, Managing Director, Sales & Marketing at RSI Visual Systems. “The booth demonstration will highlight LED based FL35 wqxga projectors integrated with the RSI XT4 Level ‘ D’ Image Generator showing the very latest in high performance PC-based visual systems.
“Today, RSI Visual Systems has over 150 systems installed around the world. Most recently RSI Visual Systems has deployed projectiondesign FL35 wqxga projectors at British Airways’ recent upgrade on one of their Level D full flight simulatiors.”
The FL35 wqxga was introduced at the end of last year as the highest-resolution solid-state light-source projector available with its 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution.
Based on the established F35 DLP® platform, the FL35 wqxga combines an ultra-high resolution of 4.1 Megapixels with projectiondesign’s second-generation ReaLED illumination technology.
“Like all ReaLED devices, the FL35 promises 100,000 hours of typical service life combined with greater installation flexibility and reduced cost of ownership compared with conventionally illuminated designs,” says Maria Dahl Aagaard, Product Marketing Manager, projectiondesign.
